I discovered this adorably packaged beer a few months ago in a tiny beer store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (wish I remembered the name, but they carried so many beers I’ve never seen before, many with beautiful labels—but I bought one of the Hitachino beers 100% for the label design).

Who knew you could win a Grammy Award for package design?

Design studio Turner Duckworth has been nominatated for a Grammy for their design of Metallica’s Death Magnetic album design in the “Best Recording Package” category.
